ROBBIE BRYAN

DIRECTOR - WRITER - PRODUCER

Robbie Bryan attended Rider College in Lawrenceville NJ, where while obtaining a marketing degree, he appeared in many theatrical productions. Upon graduating, he had the wonderful opportunity to play the role of “Hally” in The McCarter Theatre Production of MASTER HAROLD AND THE BOYS. It was after this body of work that he began to pursue an acting career in New York, where he studied at the Stella Adler Conservatory and HB Studios.

In 1997, he formed his own film company, GOOD TO BE SEEN FILMS, with partner Christie Botelho. The company soon after completed its first feature, THE STAND-IN, which Bryan wrote, produced and starred in, along with Judith Ivey, David Ogden Stiers, Lou MyersandKelly Ripa Co-Host of Live! With Regis and Kelly.The film premiered at The San Diego International Black Film Festival co-chaired by FOX Studios exec. Roland McFarland, and was released on DVD in retail stores by Ventura Distribution and IndieDVD. In 2006,he was hired to Co-Produce the feature film, Man From Earth,starringTony Todd, William Katt, John Billingsley and Alexis Thorpe.The film was one of six films nominated for a 2007 Saturn Award, for Best Sci-Fi DVD release of the year and was released on home video globally by Anchor Bay.

In 2008, Robbie made his directorial debut on the featureiMurders, which starsWilliam Forsythe, Gabrielle Anwar, Tony Todd, Billy Dee Williams, Charles Durningand Margaret Colin,which he co- wrote. The suspense/thriller/horror film was released through Anchor Bay/Starz in October of 2009 and distributed in 13 countries. In addition, he was honored to Co-Produce the Gilda’s Club sponsored, The Grief Project, a short film designed to help those dealing with the loss of a loved one through terminal illness.

2010 saw Bryan tackling cancer with his provocative “Choose”, a short film starring Deborah Twiss (Kickass) and Carter Roy, which played at the Academy Award Qualifying Festival LA Shortsfest and prestigious Oldenburg Festival, and screened for charities all around the U.S. to raise money and awareness.

Bryan has two projects on tap for GTBS Films in 2014, including the family-friendly The Mighty Misfit Kids, from his World Fest Houston Silver Remi-Winning screenplay, and the anime/manga-themed “Black Hat”, starring Jodelle Ferland (Twilight, Silent Hill),which while mostly narrative, will include ten minutes of anime from world renowned Japanese Producer Masao Maruyama and music from the bandSLIPKNOT.

CHRISTIE BOTELHO

PRODUCER-EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

Christie Botelho attended Emerson College where she received her BFA in Performance. Upon graduation she formed Mass Motion Dance Company with co-founder Terri Gordon, formerly of the Boston Ballet. The two won many choreography awards through the area for their innovative style.

She moved to NYC in 1995 where she began to pursue a career in acting and dance, honing her craft at the Michael Howard Studios and studying with dance aficionados, Linda Kent and Donald Byrd, while continuing to work in both television and film mediums.

In 1998 with her partner Robbie Bryan, she formed Good To Be Seen Films, and Executive Produced the company’s first independent feature, The Stand-In, where she focused on negotiating SAG contracts and insurance, casting and raising financing. In addition she assisted in acquiring distribution for the film. In 2008 she served as Co-Producer on the multi award winning suspense thriller, iMurders. In 2010 she fully produced her first film project for the company entitled Choose. The cancer-themed dramatic short made appearances at Academy Award qualifying LA Shortsfest, the prestigious Oldenburg Film Festival and World Fest Houston where the film won the Platinum Remy Award. In addition it raised thousands of dollars for cancer charities including Susan G. Komen and the Lustgarten foundation.
